AUCTION RULES
All the trees, wreaths, centerpieces, gingerbread and merchandise at the Festival are for sale by silent auction. The auction runs throughout the Festival until Sunday, Nov. 22, at 1 p.m.
BIDDING
Please write your name, phone number (where you can be reached on Sunday night, Nov. 23) and bid amount on the bid sheet near the item.
• Your bid is a legal contract to purchase that item
• Please note the minimum bid price for each item before bidding
• If you are outbid, you have the opportunity to re-bid at a higher price until the auction closes on Sunday.
• You may check your bid by phone by calling (309) 830-0821.
ANGEL PRICE
Hate waiting to buy? Many items have angel prices listed on them; if you wish to pay this price, the item will be yours and the bid sheet will be removed. To buy at Angel Price, take the angel price sign to the ticket area where someone will process your payment and mark the item as "sold".
PAYMENTS
Those who have the highest bid on each silent auction item will be contacted after 3 p.m. on Sunday. Payment may be made by cash, check (with positive ID) or credit card (Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express) at the Interstate Center lobby between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22.
PICK-UP AND DELIVERY
Auction winners and Angel Price buyers may pick up their merchandise at the Interstate Center lobby between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22. No item may leave the Festival of Trees before 5 p.m. Sunday.
Large Trees (7 1/2') will be delivered Monday morning, Nov. 23, at no additional cost to the buyer.
• When purchasing a large tree, you will need to supply delivery information at the ticket area.
• NOTE: If no one is home when the tree is delivered, the tree will be left unattended and the Festival will not be liable for damaged or lost merchandise.
