Love and Logic Classes

Love and Logic for Parents

Love and Logic is a discipline model for raising responsible and respectful children while increasing the joy in your house. You will learn techniques to: eliminate power struggles with your children, follow through on consequences in a way that gives children a chance to learn from their own mistakes instead of focusing on the parent’s anger, teach your children the life long skill of problem solving, and method for turning parent’s words into gold! In a society filled with new challenges every day, Love and Logic is a way to increase every family member’s belief in their abilities and a chance to bring more fun into our homes.

Cost: $10 per person or $15 per couple. You may pay at the door. No credit or debit cards. Scholarships are available for families in need. Request a scholarship when you call.

Kris Baber has worked at Hammitt School for the past 14 years. Before this she worked in public school system for several years and at an-other high school for children with severe behavior problems, She is a Love and Logic trainer and works directly with our families to teach them how to parent the Love and Logic way. Kris gets to practice Love and Logic at home with a 20, 16, and 6 year old. She has lots of sto-ries about Love and Logic with children of all ages.

Kathy Case has worked for over 33 years (the past 18 at Hammitt) with children with severe behavior problems She has had the opportunity to train many people on the Love and Logic curriculum.. It is one discipline method that staff and parents consistently believe they can actually begin utilizing the same day.
