| The "Gift-in-Kind" donation is the contribution of goods or services that would otherwise cost the agency money. The dollars we save in not having to purchase these items are directly applied to support the important programs and services we provide in our community. The donor receives credit for the fair market value of the gift.  For several reasons, The Baby Fold currently accepts only new and/or unused items. The lack of adequate storage space and the cost to sort, inventory and distribute the large volume of used items we receive is almost always greater than the cost of purchasing the items. Due to these factors, we recommend that you support the community by donating used items to other organizations that are equipped to put them to the best possible use. Here 4 You is a partner organization that allows our clients to acquire used items at no cost. From time to time, we do accept gently used household items such as furniture and appliances, depending on current need. Current in-kind needs
