Can I get lunch or dinner at The Festival of Trees?
Yes. Bloomington Hy-Vee Catering will offer dinner on Thursday, Nov. 17th and lunch on Friday, Nov. 18th and Saturday Nov. 19th. Please note Hy-Vee will only accept cash as a form of payment. Additionally, guests may purchase dinner tickets for Avanti's Family Nights on Friday Nov 18th and Saturday, Nov. 19th. These tickets include an Avanti's meal and a drink, general admission to the Festival of Trees, and live entertainment by Kim and Chris from local group Style in Stereo on Friday night, and the group New Legacy on Saturday night. Avanti's Family Night dinner tickets will be available for purchase online beginning October 1 here and on-site during regular Festival of Trees hours.
What food is served at the Avanti's Family Nights?
This ticketed event includes delicious Avanti's mostaccioli pasta mixed with marinara sauce; a garden salad; bread; and a beverage (soft drink or water). Tickets for Avanti's Family Nights can be purchased online beginning October 1 here or on-site during regular Festival of Trees hours.
Do you still have paper and pen bidding?
We no longer have paper and pen bidding. The new moblie auction platform is convenient and easy for bidders to use from any device with an internet connection, from any location - even from the comfort of your home! Register for the auction/buy tickets here.
Do you ship items?
No. The Baby Fold is unable to offer shipping for auction item winners.
What if I can't pick up my items during the designated pick-up time?
If you are unable to pick up your items during the designated pick up time (Sun. Nov. 20, 2022 from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm at The Interstate Center), we ask that you send someone in your place. Items that are not picked up during the designated pick up time will become property of The Baby Fold. We are unable to arrange alternative pick up dates, times, and locations; and are unable to deliver Festival of Trees items to employees.
Can I make a donation?
Yes. Our mobile auction website includes a tab where you can make a donation to support the programs and services of The Baby Fold. 100% of the proceeds from the auction go directly into serving over 1200 children and families annually.
Do seniors receive discounted tickets?
No. Tickets to the Festival of Trees are not discounted, however seniors can enjoy free bingo and our senior expo tables between 10am and 2pm on Thurs. Nov. 17. The Festival of Trees is The Baby Fold's largest annual fundraiser to support the life-changing programs and services that touch the lives of over 1200 children and families annually. Tickets may be purchased online beginning October 1 here and onsite during regular Festival of Trees hours.
Can I donate a decorated item for the auction?
Yes. Each year prior to the Festival of Trees, interested individuals may sign-up to design and donate hand-crafted holiday items. Auction item donors can read information about accepted items, the process, and important dates here. Information for gingerbread donors can be found here.
Can I volunteer to work at the Festival of Trees?
Yes. It takes hundreds of dedicated volunteers to help bring central Illinois largest holiday event to life. Adults ages 21 and up are welcome to visit our volunteer sign-up page found here. Areas of greatest need continue to be during set-up and tear-down of the event.
