 Planned Structure Removal at The Baby Fold’s Willow Street Location

NORMAL, IL – After a thorough evaluation and cost-benefit analysis, The Baby Fold will remove one structure, known as Randle Hall, at its Willow Street location in Normal. Removal of the structure is scheduled to begin May 24, 2025, between the end of Hammitt School’s regular school year and the beginning of its summer session. Traffic at the intersection of Linden and Willow Streets is not expected to be impacted during the process.

Randle Hall is one of several buildings at the Willow Street location. Staff previously housed in Randle Hall were relocated to the adjacent Hammitt School building in January. This update is isolated and will not impact any other structures, programs, or services provided by The Baby Fold.

The Baby Fold’s Willow Street location includes Hammitt School on Willow, Mason Hall (administrative services), and Asher Hall (development and public relations). The agency also operates a second Hammitt School campus on Oglesby Avenue in Normal, as well as additional locations on Susan Drive in Normal, Market Street in Bloomington, and in Urbana and Springfield.
